Aston Martin honours Bond legacy with DB12 Goldfinger Edition

Aston Martin honours 60 years of Goldfinger with a limited edition DB12 that combines Bond’s legacy with modern supercar performance.

In a fitting tribute to one of cinema’s most iconic partnerships, Aston Martin has released the DB12 Goldfinger Edition to mark the 60th anniversary of Goldfinger—the 1964 Bond film that first introduced the legendary Aston Martin DB5. Limited to just 60 units, this bespoke DB12 bridges the past and future of Aston Martin’s relationship with 007, with nods to the classic DB5 while packing the advanced features of a modern super tourer.

Clad in the unmistakable Silver Birch paint—the same hue as the original DB5—the Goldfinger Edition instantly recalls the car that helped James Bond make his mark on pop culture history. The exterior is further enhanced with gold accents, a nod to the precious metal so central to Goldfinger’s plot. It combines this nostalgic allure with contemporary performance, boasting a 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine capable of delivering 680PS (671bhp), positioning the DB12 Goldfinger at the peak of luxury sports cars.

Inside, the car is equally Bond-worthy. Aston Martin’s Q division has crafted a luxurious cabin with bespoke leather upholstery and gold details that further cement its ties to 007. Advanced infotainment and driving technology ensure the DB12 Goldfinger isn’t just about appearances—it delivers cutting-edge performance.

Since Goldfinger, Aston Martin has become inextricably linked with the Bond franchise, appearing in multiple films, from Skyfall to No Time to Die. The DB12 Goldfinger Edition continues that tradition, combining the best of the brand’s heritage and modern advancements, making it a must-have for Bond fans and car collectors alike.
